Digital Learning Experience Designer

A Digital Learning Experience Designer is a professional responsible for creating engaging and effective digital learning experiences. The primary focus is on designing and developing educational materials for online or technology-enabled learning environments. The overview functions of the role typically include:

 

Multimedia Content Development:

  • Create or collaborate on the development of multimedia content, including videos, interactive simulations, animations, and other engaging materials.
  • Ensure content is accessible and suitable for the digital learning platform.

 

User Experience (UX) Design:

  • Focus on creating a positive and user-friendly experience for learners.
  • Consider the user interface, navigation, and overall usability of the digital learning environment.

 

Assessment and Feedback:

  • Design assessments and evaluation methods to measure learning outcomes.
  • Provide feedback mechanisms to support learner progress and improvement.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of instructional design models such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation).

  • Acquire proficiency in using various digital tools, learning management systems (LMS), and educational technologies.

  • Develop skills in creating multimedia content, including videos, interactive simulations, animations, and other engaging materials.

  • Design effective assessments and evaluation methods to measure learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback.

  • Develop effective communication and collaboration skills to work with subject matter experts, graphic designers, developers, and other stakeholders.

  • Cultivate problem-solving skills to address challenges related to technology, and content development.

Age:

Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.

 

Academic Qualifications:

A diploma or bachelor's in graphic design, educational technology, IT, or a related field.

 

Computer Skills:

Excellent knowledge of computer systems and office-related software.

 

Team Player:

  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Adaptability to an international working environment.
     

Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
