Project Coordinator

A Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and facilitating the successful execution of projects within BJESCO. The overall functions of a Project Coordinator may include:

 

Project Planning:

  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to create comprehensive project plans.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Communication Management:

  • Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure that information flows effectively within the project team.

Task Assignment and Tracking:

  • Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project requirements.
  • Track progress and deadlines, ensuring that tasks are completed on time.

Resource Management:

  • Coordinate and allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and equipment.
  • Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project.
  • Work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Generate regular reports on project status, milestones achieved, and any issues or risks.
  • Understand the basic principles and concepts of project management.
  • Learn about project life cycles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Develop effective communication skills for conveying information clearly to team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Learn to facilitate meetings and discussions.
  • Acquire the ability to create comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, objectives, tasks, and timelines.
  • Understand how to develop and manage project schedules.

The candidature will be valid for 6 months. Candidates who have been selected will be contacted directly by the relevant hiring manager. 

Age:

Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.

 

Academic Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, project management, engineering, or a related discipline is often required. Some positions may require a master's degree

 

Project Management Certification:

Having a project management certification, such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), can be beneficial and demonstrates a solid understanding of project management principles

 

Computer Skills:

Excellent knowledge of computer systems and office-related software.

 

Team Player:

  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Adaptability to an international working environment.
     

Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
