Program Advantages

Degree + Job Direction, Aim at Target from Day One

From design stage the program revolves around partner enterprise talent needs: select majors per enterprise hiring standards; introduce real enterprise projects as course cases; through enterprise mentor lectures & workshops let students understand real job scenes early. Every academic year students move closer to real job requirements, instead of waiting until graduation to think "what am I suitable for".

Enterprise Participates in Training, Scholarships & Internships Clear

According to different partner enterprises and cohorts, some entrusted trainee places can apply for enterprise scholarships, tuition reduction or living allowances, plus priority internship/training opportunities. Even without scholarships, students accumulate experience through enterprise training and project participation, adding chips for subsequent internships  (Specific amount, coverage and payment method subject to each official admission brochure.)

Deeply Aligned with Industry Needs, Fitting China-Malaysia Cooperation & Employment Trends

As Chinese enterprises continuously expand investment layout in Malaysia and ASEAN, demand for compound talents familiar with local environment, bilingual ability and cross-cultural communication clearly rises. The entrusted program is designed against this backdrop, focusing on digital economy, engineering technology, modern services, etc., building a two-way selection channel for enterprises and students.

Program Series

01

Series 1: Research Track

For master’s/PhD/senior undergrads in biology/food/nutrition/medicine/public-health/pharmacy, dive into the cutting-edge of rare-sugar biosynthesis & metabolic health—collate allulose clinical evidence, run experiments/statistics, and simultaneously generate review drafts, figures and academic posters that feed straight into your thesis.

02

Series 2: Med & Channel Track

For medical-school/public-health/nutrition-health-management students, focus on "rare sugar × chronic disease × medical channels"—collate intervention evidence & SE-Asia regulatory updates for diabetes/obesity populations, conduct field surveys of hospitals/clinics/pharmacies, and simultaneously deliver physician communication kits, channel education materials and actionable market strategies.

03

Series 3: Marketing Track

For marketing/branding/media/content-operation students, turn "rare sugar + low-sugar lifestyle" into a data-driven campaign—draft user personas, plan multi-media content (articles/short videos/science columns), run A/B tests during execution, and walk away with the complete campaign strategy, channel data pack and showcase-able case portfolio.

04

Series 4: Tech & Data Track

For computer/data/AI/information-system students, build truly usable digital infrastructure for research and business—set up experimental data management & visualisation mini-systems, construct market & channel dashboards, and casually develop diet-log + low-sugar recommendation mini-apps or automated report scripts, finally delivering a runnable demo, complete technical documentation and algorithm specifications.

Topic Direction Examples (Research & Business)

Actual topics will be adjusted according to current supervisors, partner institutions and student backgrounds; the following are common examples.
Topic 1: Rare Sugar Biosynthesis & Process Optimisation

Compare different biosynthetic routes: e.g. multi-enzyme cascade, MOF immobilised enzyme systems, metabolically engineered strain construction;

Focus on yield, selectivity, substrate cost and scale-up potential;

Compare carbon footprint, cost and safety of traditional chemical isomerisation vs modern biological processes;

Topic 2: D-Allulose & Blood Glucose / Body Weight / Gut Microbiota

Collate clinical trials and human studies: effects of allulose on postprandial blood glucose, insulin sensitivity and weight management;

Follow animal and in vitro findings on GLP-1, fatty liver, inflammation, etc.;

Discuss strength, limitations and future research directions of existing evidence;

Topic 3: Rare vs Artificial Sweeteners in Public Health

Compare research results and controversies on metabolic safety of rare vs common artificial sweeteners;

Analyse impact of different national regulatory and labelling strategies on enterprises and consumers (e.g. whether allulose is counted as sugar on labels);

Provide a more robust scientific wording boundary for product positioning and health communication;

Topic 4:Application & User Perception in New Tea Drinks / Functional Foods

Survey adoption and cases of allulose and other rare sugars in new tea drinks, bakery, functional beverages, etc.;

Combine channel feedback and user interviews to analyse real impact of labels like "sugar reduced", "low GI", "sugar substitute" on consumer decision-making;

Form a reusable "product + wording + channel" framework;

Topic 5: Internal Data Platform & Integrated Dashboard

Design structured schemes for research and market data;

Build unified dashboard through ETL pipelines and visualisation tools, providing real-time data support for research and marketing;

Explore how to reflect "evidence level" and "data credibility" in the system under compliance;

Program Process

Submit info online, BJESCO consultant understands your academic background, study plan and career preference; preliminarily judges which track (Research, Med-Channel, Marketing, Tech) suits you best.

Based on your direction, ALO SUGAR team and Malaysian partners screen suitable topics or roles; conduct online technical / thinking interview to assess basic ability and time commitment match.

If not yet in Malaysia: pair with BJESCO application services (Basic / Standard / Full Package) to help you choose schools & majors better suited to host the topic; if already studying in Malaysia: communicate with university supervisor to confirm whether project direction can be linked with existing topic.

Clarify three-party rights & duties (student / BJESCO / ALO SUGAR & partners): work content & time input, IP, data & confidentiality, authorship & outcome ownership (per international academic norms).

Complete check-in, accommodation and life settling; attend project kick-off meeting, clarify topic objectives, stage milestones & assessment criteria; for marketing / tech roles, clarify online / offline work mode and contact persons.

Regular meetings with topic supervisor / project leader to report data progress, experimental results or business outcomes; BJESCO project teacher tracks your status, helps balance academic and project work; adjust topic depth or role focus if necessary.

According to different tracks, form corresponding outcomes: research reports / draft papers / conference posters; channel strategy & execution review reports; data dashboards / tool demos & technical docs; if topic reaches publication level, supervisor decides target journal / conference or internal release format.

Supervisor and project leader issue written comments (research ability, cooperation, professional potential); BJESCO consultant provides targeted advice for your next application / career stage; outstanding participants can join higher-stage topics or business projects.
